YouTube’s well-known extension tool, “Return My Dislike,” was recently found to have jumped out of a window commercial while watching the film, hoping that the user would donate or upgrade it to an advanced level, triggering discussions online, behind the scenes, because the developers already did not have enough funds to cover the maintenance costs.

YouTube has closed the “Uspicion” display in November 2021 because it did not want to hit the creator, but later the developer produced the “Return My Dislike” extension, re-showing the hidden pent-up, which is still a hot download plugin from the Chrome Applied Shop.

In the near future, however, users have begun to find that Return My Dislike will suddenly overwhelm the YouTube recommended list and turn it into an ad to request donations and upgrades. In addition, the ad will jump out of a full page window, and there is a user reaction that is as high as computer poisoning, unlike other extension tools, only once.

The sudden changes triggered a large number of user rebounds, believed to be plaster killings, as well as the destruction of original clean use experiences, and a large number of negative ratings began to flow into the mall.

Following the emergence of public opinion, according to PCMag, the developer Dmitry Selivanov, in Discord, said that it was inevitable that, because of the use of more than 20 million users, the cost of hosting the server amounted to more than $600 per month, but that income from the Patreon sponsorship was only about $400, and that there was no functional cost of running it, and that it was only possible to raise money by advertising.

However, it was not the intention of the developers to make the ad so annoying that they had made a design error, and the original breakout should be used as an updated log, i.e., a one-time announcement and request for donations, as they were familiar with it.

Dmitry Selivanov has put in place an emergency return version, a temporary solution that is too malicious, but under pressure from the economic burden, there should be a new version in the future, in a relatively mild way, to draw attention to the fact that the functions we enjoy are not for granted, but are being given in silence.
